Zenless Zone Zero's Version 2.4: A Festive 'Krampus Squad' Arrives to End 2025

Version 2.4 is poised to significantly impact both the fiction and gameplay of Zenless Zone Zero. The update’s most notable addition is the introduction of the Krampus Compliance Authority, a new faction affiliated with TOPS. The narrative suggests this group acts as an oversight committee, dispatched in the aftermath of the team's tumultuous adventure beneath Timesworn Hill.

This new narrative arc drives players to explore a new region: an old mining site that is now accessible for the first time in a decade, thanks to the receding Miasma.

New Agents and Resources

Two highly anticipated S-Rank Agents are joining the roster in this update:

1. Dialyn (S-Rank Physical Stun Agent): A former customer service specialist, Dialyn’s unique mechanics integrate her past profession. Her gameplay revolves around generating two resources—Customer Complaint and Positive Review—with her core strength being the ability to stun enemies and provide a significant boost for teammates to unleash their Ults.

2. Banyue (S-Rank Fire Rupture Agent): Banyue is a martial arts expert whose fighting style blends strength and rhythm. He cycles between two resources, Adrenaline and Wrathful Fires, alternating them to fuel his powerful actions. Mastering his combat flow will require players to adapt to his unique rhythm.

New Bangboo Units and Returning Favorites

The festive theme is cemented with the arrival of two new Bangboo units:

• Birkblick: This proprietary little bunny from the Krampus Authority is equipped with a sensor array that transforms into a cannon in combat, allowing him to track and immediately "nuke" designated targets.

• Bild N. Boolok: An extremely useful Support Agent-affiliated Physical damage dealing Bangboo. He wields a massive block hammer to deliver crushing attacks. Players can acquire Bild N. Boolok for free by participating in the returning Bangboo auto chess event.

In line with the winter theme, Version 2.4 brings back popular Ice Agents Hugo (Attack) and Ellen (Attack) to the banners.

Events and Free Rewards

Players can look forward to the return of the Bangboo auto chess event, which now features PvE stages with unique rewards, including the aforementioned free Bangboo unit. Another event, Lightstream Notes, will be available throughout the update's duration, allowing players to team up with Ye Shunguang in the city of New Eridu.
