The Sims 4 Update Adds West African-Inspired Content

The Sims 4 has released a free update that adds new items inspired by West African culture and designs.

The update includes new Build, Buy, and Create a Sim items with patterns and colors from West African art and culture.

New items include the Okuta Lamp with Woven Shade, Itura Cushion, Visions of Home Decorative Art, Wallu Woven Basket, Hiwe Area Rug, and West African Aloe Plant.

Sims can now cook Jollof Rice with Chicken Drumsticks, and there's a new Trio of Flavor decor object made up of wooden bowls with ingredients common in West African cuisine.

The update also adds new fashion items in Create a Sim with the same inspirations.

The content was created with the help of the Pan African Gaming Group (PAGG) and Sims players with connections to West African countries.

The update also fixes over 150 issues reported by the community. It's available now on PC, Mac, and consoles.
